Luang Prabang, Laos TourDay 1: Luang Prabang Arrival

Luang Prabang, the first stop for your Indochina tours is Unesco Heritage listed city. Upon your arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Today, depends on your flight, we will arrange a suitable itinerary for you to visit Luong Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.


Day 2: Luang Prabang tour

Lang PrabangLuang Prabang is the perfect break during your Indochina tours. If you wish, get an early start (6:00am or so) and go watch or participate in the traditional Lao rite of Almsgiving to the monks. In the city, some 300+ monks file through silently collecting alms. This is an amazing sight and your guide will be on hand to demonstrate and explain this important ritual.

This morning, we visit Wat Xieng Thong (Golden City Temple), the city’s most magnificent temple by the Mekong. From here, we catch a traditional long boat trip up the Mekong river to visit the famous Pak Ou cave. The upper section of the cave is part of a limestone cave staffed with Buddha images of all styles and sizes. En route, we will also visit Ban Phanom, a traditional weaving village.

Day 3: Luong Prabang – Hanoi

Day 5: Lao Cai –  Sapa Tour

In the terraced hills and mountains of this area, the monotony of the expansive green landscape is enlivened by the colours of its hill tribe population. Take a morning walking tour of Sapa for a visit to the busy market where Red Dao, Black & Flower H'Mong, Tay and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their silverware and handicrafts, and to buy provisions. Day 10: Hoi An - Faming & Fishing Life Tour

Day 15: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh
